Good Shepherd is dedicated to ensuring everyone in Jacksonville knows how to swim. In fact, the pool was built in 1921 (through a donation from the Cummer family) as a convenient way to learn to swim. Today, the pool is affectionately known as "The Church That Taught a City How to Swim."
We currently have multiple swim instructors (Champion Swim School, Kerry Wick, and Kerry Wick). They teach people of ALL ages how to swim and improve their swim techniques.
To learn more about Champion Swim School, Kerry, and Jennifer, check out their bios on the "Instructors" tab.
If you are interested in signing up for a swim class, please contact the instructor directly (contact information included in their bio).
